Job Description
Qualification, Experience and Competency requirements:
- B. E./ B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic/Automotive Engineering with Automotive Industry experience
Preferred Experience:
Essential:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Design & Development of automotive wiring harness components (Connectors, wires, Coverings, Clips etc.,)
- Manufacturing & Assembly Plant exposure, Supplier/customer management, Launch support
- Good knowledge in design basics, vehicle packaging studies, Architecture, and statutory requirements, etc.
- Knowledge in Automotive Quality Systems (DFMEA, PPAP, DVP&R, etc...)
- Cross functional experience in Design and program management will be an added advantage

- Source packaging document including Engineering specifications, timing, Validation
- New Supplier development
- Responsible for Component selection
- Responsible for DFMEA & DVPR - Component level & System Level
