Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mechanical Design and Controls Design teams
- Oversee machine design, development, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive Research & Development projects aimed at improving machine efficiency, performance, and cost savings
- Manage project timelines, budgets, costings, and resource allocation
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications
- Assist production and assembly teams with technical problem-solving and root-cause analysis
- Manage customer technical requirements, upgrades, retrofits, and spares projects
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, health & safety regulations, and company procedures
