The Engineering Manager leads technical delivery across major projects or multiple work fronts, overseeing design development, integration, and execution from concept to completion. On smaller schemes, they provide strategic oversight of programme, quality, and compliance, ensuring regulatory standards and client expectations are met. Accountable for technical assurance and team performance, the role drives planning, resource coordination, and risk management while influencing commercial decisions and supporting contract management. Acting as the primary technical authority in their area of expertise, the Engineering Manager ensures designs are buildable, safe, and cost‑effective, providing leadership to deliver high‑quality, sustainable outcomes in regulated environments.
