Position Objective and Results to be Achieved:
Responsible for the overseeing daily operations of the engineering department and ensure a safe efficient and well-maintained hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and oversee general repairs and preventative maintenance of the guest bedrooms and front and back of house areas with the involvement of the maintenance mechanics are required.
- Also to undertake any duties required outside the hotel building, in the hotel grounds, as required, to ensure that all areas of the property are maintained to the required standard.
- Be fully familiar with Hotel Fire and Emergency Procedures
- Represent the Chief Engineer in their absence, in all aspects relating to the department and to attend various meetings as required.
