AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician (EOT) to support on‑site operations at an AWS data centre in the UK. The role focuses on maintaining electrical, mechanical and safety equipment with high uptime requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within internal SLAs.
- Perform limited maintenance tasks, including filter changes, HVAC preventive maintenance, rack power installs, rack PDU and rack ATS replacements.
- Provide support to Data Centre Operations technicians.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Adhere to all safety procedures when performing work.
- Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
