Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position creates accurate cost estimates for construction and engineering projects by reviewing design plans. The employee also evaluates contractor proposals to ensure fair and complete pricing. Responsibilities Calculate the expected costs for upcoming construction and engineering projects. Review project plans and blueprints to determine the necessary materials and labor. Evaluate contractor bids to ensure their pricing is fair, accurate, and meets project needs.
