Job Posting: English as a Second Language (ESL) – Substitute Teacher Location: Adult Learning Center 105 Clover Drive, Great Neck, NY Schedule: ? Morning sessions: Monday–Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ? Evening sessions: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. (Substitute assignments vary; teachers may choose whether to accept each opportunity)
Position Overview: The Great Neck Adult Learning Center is seeking a substitute teacher to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to adult learners. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that foster language acquisition, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Lesson plans will be provided by the regular classroom teacher
Start Date: October 2025 Compensation: $49.19 – $50.19 per hour

Qualifications: ? New York State Certification in ESOL or ELA 7–12 (required)
