Responsibilities
- Support Registered Nurses (RNs) in the coordination of care of patients.
- Assist physicians and RNs in bedside procedures and treatment.
- Communicate effectively and maintain collaborative relationship with the multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Provide patient education to patients, Next of Kin (NOK) and caregivers on self-care management.
- Attend to and assist RNs in inpatient resuscitation or medical emergencies.
- Support clinical supervision of new enrolled nurses, support care staff and coaching of nursing students in the delivery of nursing care.
- Identify common causes of patient safety incidents and work with the supervisor and senior nurses in carrying out quality improvement activities.
- Be a team player and participate in clinical audits as required.
- Candidate must be enrolled with SNB.
