An international logistics company is seeking an Import / Customs Specialist (Entry Writer) to support customs clearance and import/export operations. Candidates with customs brokerage experience are highly encouraged to apply. Licensed Customs Brokers are welcome, but a license is not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customs entries for import shipments.
- Review commercial documents and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agencies (FDA, EPA, DOT, etc.).
- Classify products using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes.
- Calculate duties and taxes and assist with customs-related documentation.
- Maintain electronic records and support document management initiatives.
