Job Description
The Standards Council of Canada is seeking Environmental Accreditation Assessors for its Validation and Verification Body Accreditation Program in Ottawa. This role offers the chance to conduct GHG assessments.
You will be responsible for evaluating VVBAP customers based on current ISO standards like ISO/IEC 17029:2019. Your experience in conformity assessment, personnel evaluation, and VVB processes will ensure customers meet essential accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work alongside SCC Lead Assessor to define assessment scopes
• Analyze customers’ quality systems for compliance
• Review human resources and performance documentation
• Witness audits to inform on conformity levels
• Report findings and suggest improvements based on assessments

• Must be Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have Work VISA
