Drive EHS excellence as the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Plattsville, ON. Lead safety initiatives and engage employees to enhance environmental performance across the plant.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing EHS initiatives and ensuring compliance with all regulations. This role requires a strong background in training, safety management, and environmental standards. You'll manage audits, investigations, and development of training programs, collaborating closely with employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain the EHS management systems
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies
• Develop and deliver employee training programs
• Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations
• Lead investigations of incidents supporting legal processes
Requirements:
• 4 years of hands-on EHS experience required
• Post-secondary education in relevant field
