# POSITION SUMMARY: The EVS Supervisor directs housekeeping service/ personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures and as directed by the Department Director. The EVS Supervisor assures that housekeeping services are maintained at appropriate levels at all times.# Performs within the prescribed limits of the medical center/ department#s compliance programs.# The EVS Supervisor detects, observes, and reports compliance variances to immediate supervisor or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer, or the GMC hotline.# Performance of other related duties and activities, as directed.# The EVS Supervisor will also be called to perform the duties of a Housekeeper, Floor Tech and Laundry Worker.# The EVS Supervisor will coordinate projects, training programs, quality control processes, and in-services for EVS department staff.
