Position Overview
Heavy Equipment Mechanic role working about 44 hours per week on a continental schedule, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsible for safely maintaining and repairing fleet equipment—primarily heavy machinery, as well as trucks and trailers—while following company policies and government regulations. Duties include scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and supporting/training apprentice mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the activities of mechanic to repair and maintain ESS equipment
- Accept repair calls to perform field repairs.
- Inspect motors in operation, operation test and test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults;
