Job Description

Ventia is seeking a highly capable and strategic National Fleet Manager to lead the operational and strategic management of Defence Clothing System inventory across our national network. Reporting to the Network Inventory Manager, this role is critical in ensuring the availability, suitability, and compliance of fleet inventory, including Combat, Non-Combat, and PPE while supporting Defence capability and operational readiness. This role is based in Melbourne, and cannot be performed remotely. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national fleet inventory management, including forecasting and supply planning.

  • Ensure inventory suitability and fitness for purpose across all categories.

  • Collaborate with Defence stakeholders and internal teams to maintain inventory integrity.

  • Liaise with Engineering on new specifications and manage RODUMS (Report on Defective or Unsatisfactory Materials).
