*EPA Section 608 Certification (Refrigerant Transition and Recovery) Universal Technician Certification
JOB SUMMARY
- Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
- Assemble, test, dehydrate, charge, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems with minimal supervision.
- Perform high-quality silver soldering on copper refrigeration systems up to three inches in diameter.
- This includes bending and flaring copper tubing according to reliable standards.
- Use piping and instrumentation diagrams to assemble and troubleshoot low-temperature refrigeration systems.
- Analyze material availability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
