DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Level II (Mid-Level) epidemiology and surveillance support services to the Bacterial Diseases Branch. Support shall include activities in a dynamic environment involving epidemiologic data collection, management, and analysis; scientific writing and dissemination; project coordination and protocol support; vaccine policy support; collaboration with external partners; quality assurance; and coordination of surveillance, prevention, and public health response activities.Perform epidemiologic data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation activities to support public health practices related to bacterial vector-borne disease surveillance, prevention, and control.Perform data management and analysis, including supporting the collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation of epidemiologic data using appropriate statistical methods for surveillance, research, and program evaluation.Provide scienti...
