LOCATION: Urbana Country Club, Urbana, IL
POSITION TITLE: Equipment Manager/Technician
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, the equipment manager oversees a comprehensive fleet maintenance program. The program includes; major and minor mechanical repairs of equipment, keeping records of parts / labor / maintenance intervals, placing orders for parts / supplies and adhering to budget guidelines for equipment maintenance. The equipment manager places safety as a top priority in the shop and with fellow employees. He / She also will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment that sets a positive example for others.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in different pieces of equipment in the fleet. This may include; diesel, electric, hydraulic and gasoline powered automobiles, trucks, trenchers, sweepers, rollers, ...
