Equipment Operator - Granbury, TX
The Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment of various types to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. CDL preferred. Essential functions include following and helping enforce safe practices and rules, assisting in preparing equipment and materials for each day's work, operating equipment as directed by Foreperson, helping maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations, assisting other crew members in all aspects of daily activities and taking a leadership role when required, cleaning up and disposing of all debris, setting up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public, keeping informed on new equipment, specifications, standard practices, operating procedures, and customer and company employee relations policies and practices, tracking and reporting mileage to Foreperson, and performing duties for storm work as needed.
