Job Summary:
Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking a highly disciplined and vigilant Security Officer Grade C to safeguard its critical infrastructure and ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, detecting and preventing security threats, and responding effectively to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and a proactive approach to risk management in line with Eskom’s commitment to operational excellence and energy security.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to Eskom’s infrastructure, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter secure areas.
Conduct regular patrols of facilities and premises to deter and detect any unauthorized activities.
Respond promptly and appropriately to security breaches, alarms, or emergencies.
