In this role, you will not just calculate quantities; you will analyze structural drawings, identify design efficiencies, and build accurate cost models for complex projects. Your ability to understand the why behind the design is key to minimizing risk and optimizing costs.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Structural Knowledge: Solid understanding of structural design principles and load paths. Ability to read and interpret complex structural drawings and analysis reports.
- Software Proficiency:
- Estimation tools (e.g. Revit, Advanced Excel).
- Familiarity with design software (e.g. SAP2000) to verify quantities is a plus.
