Be an integral part of the pre-construction team of an established Civil Engineering contractor operating across Somerset and surrounding counties. As an Estimator you will:
* Be responsible for preparation and submission of all bids.
* Review specifications, drawings, schedules and tender documents.
* Analyse labour, material and plant subcontractors for best value.
* Produce BoQ and pricing schedules.
* Identify and monitor risk/opportunities.
* Be experience of working for a Civil Engineering contractor.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Have experience of reviewing contract terms and Conditions, identifying and clarifying scope of work at tender stage and creating commercial strategies.
