Summary:
AUI is looking to fill a full-time estimator for the BESS division. The primary role of the Electrical Estimator is to be involved in all aspects of the bid and estimating process. This position will be tasked with reviewing plans and specs, and the negotiating process with our industry partners. They will be responsible for the whole package of a bid from quantity take-off pricing, scoping, and bidding of the construction projects.
Responsibilities:
+ Investigate project site before bid to identify potential problems, access issues, haul routes, waste areas, borrow areas, staging areas, dump sites, etc.
+ Determine project scope and scope of work to be self-performed and subcontracted
+ Issue invitations to bid and supply bid documents to potential subcontractors and suppliers via online plan rooms
+ Serve as company liaison to subcontractors and vendors d...
