The position of Estimator will analyze, prepare and review bids (including earthwork, Underground, stormwater and wet utility) takeoffs and pricing for heavy civil, roadway, highway and bridge projects.
Regular Job Duties
Performs quantity take-offs using a complete and detailed understanding of the project scope.. Track actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Track actual commodities pricing for items that may impact cost before bid or during buy-out phase. Consult with clients, vendors and personnel in other departments to discuss project and formulate strategies, estimates and resolve conflict issues.
