Job Description
The Estimator/Junior Quantity Surveyor will assist the Project Manager to ensure that projects are accurately planned and delivered within budget.
Preparing accurate quantity take-offs and submitting timely cost estimates for new construction or refurbishment tenders, as well as cost variations to ongoing projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this position you must:
- Be able to read construction drawings and quantify materials.
- Be familiar with the format and preparation of a Bill of Quantities.
- Be willing and able to learn quickly.
- Be a team player.
- Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Possess the following:
- Associate’s Degree in Building Construction Technology or a related field
- At least one year of experience in a similar role;
