Estimator/junior quantity surveyor

The Estimator/Junior Quantity Surveyor will assist the Project Manager to ensure that projects are accurately planned and delivered within budget.

Preparing accurate quantity take-offs and submitting timely cost estimates for new construction or refurbishment tenders, as well as cost variations to ongoing projects.

To be successful in this position you must: Be able to read construction drawings and quantify materials. Be familiar with the format and preparation of a Bill of Quantities. Be willing and able to learn quickly. Be a team player. Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Possess the following: Associate’s Degree in Building Construction Technology or a related field At least one year of experience in a similar role;
