Position Summary
This course takes place in Year Two of the Bachelor of Education program to engage Teacher Candidates in ongoing professional reflective practice, inquiry, and collaboration. Teacher Candidates meet to share questions and reflections emerging from their professional practice, to engage in collaborative inquiry and problem solving, and to construct professional knowledge as a community of learners.
The course supports a Teacher Candidate’s transition to practice (e.g., resume‑writing, interview skills, supply teaching).
Responsibilities
- Provide the course outline of assignments and topics to ensure consistency across sections.
- Serve as the Faculty Advisor, offering consultation and support to Teacher Candidates during the practicum.
