Head of Design and Estimating
Location: United Kingdom – home based with some national travel.
Contract type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Surveyors and Bid Coordinators.
- Contribute directly to Equans’s strategic vision of empowering transitions toward a low‑carbon future.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, manage conflicting priorities and inspire the team to put the customer at the heart of solutions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the sales team and supply chain, to deliver winning proposals aligned with business targets.
- Work with the Business Development Director to navigate internal governance and ensure tender submissions are appropriately authorised.
- Ensure the quality and competitiveness of all quotes, proposals and tenders.
- Coordinate with Operations Project Managers, Stock and Logistics Manager, and Operations Director.
