- To perform Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) coding fori) reporting Casemix data to MOH for-Medisave Accreditation-Publication of hospital bill size, length of stay and volume of 80 common conditions in Singaporeii) Internal use, in quality initiatives and business planning
- To support other clinical quality initiatives as required by management
Key accountabilities - Review medical record documentation and accurately assign appropriate ICD-10-AM diagnosis and ACHI procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines.
- Maintain quality and productivity according to department and organizational requirements.
- Maintain competency and accuracy while utilizing tools of the trades, such as 3M CodeFinder, SAP, SCM and all reference materials.
- Participate in any clinical quality activities/ additional duties as assigned by the Department.
