ABOUT THE ROLE The Executive Director is a critical role for the organization, responsible for advancing the organization’s strategic priorities through strong governance, effective program delivery, and meaningful engagement with artists, members, funders, and partners.
A key focus of the role is strengthening and diversifying revenue streams, including public funding, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives, to support the long-term sustainability of the organization. The Executive Director will also lead advocacy efforts and maintain relationships with government, industry, and community stakeholders to support the growth of the BC music sector.
The ideal candidate brings experience in organizational leadership, fundraising, government relations, partnership development, and has experience working within a Board-governed environment. Candidates from the music/entertainment sector, broader creative sectors, or the non-profit space are encouraged to apply.
