to join our Underwriting unit. In this role, you’ll manage a panel of intermediaries, support the Lead Underwriter, and help drive profitable portfolio growth.
What You’ll Do
Underwrite new Motor Insurance business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and insured clients, offering advice and support on motor insurance matters.
Review renewal policies, especially those with claims history, ensuring sound underwriting decisions.
Monitor and manage your assigned portfolio to achieve sustainable and profitable growth.
Guide, mentor, and support junior underwriters and administrative staff.
Assist the Team Lead Underwriter in day‑to‑day team matters and initiatives.
Provide cross‑team support when needed, including contingency backup.
