What qualifications are we looking for?
At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;Experience working with children to facilitate inclusion within outdoor based programs
Experience planning and implementing hike and canoe expeditions
Experience supervising or mentoring counsellors in expedition focused programs
Previous experience working with people of all abilities and a solid understanding of the integration process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification (CPR recertified within the last 12 months) at minimum
Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
Evidence of proof of COVID-19 vaccine
Three professional references
