Powell is a manufacturer of switchgear and other electrical equipment. We are seeking a Material Expeditor for our location in Southeast Houston! Four 10s schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
Position Summary
The Material Expeditor position is assigned a series of commodities and/or services for which they are responsible for assuring that the requirements for these items are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner. Responsible for expediting shortages and ensuring all required items are completed to support assembly operations. Interfaces with Engineering, Scheduling, Purchasing, Shop, and Manufacturing groups.
Essential Responsibilities
+ Document and track current status of all shortages for jobs on the production line.
