G&L Ironworks is a growing structural and ornamental steel company serving Long Island. We're looking for an experienced fabricator/installer who can take ownership of projects and help us build the next stage of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate structural steel, railings, stairs, and miscellaneous metals
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Lead installations and work efficiently in the field
- Operate fabrication equipment safely
- Work directly with ownership to maintain quality and schedule
- Help train less experienced employees when needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of fabrication and installation experience
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
- Strong MIG welding skills (TIG is a plus)
- Experience with structural steel and ornamental metals
- Valid driver's license
