Business Development Manager – Somalia/Somaliland Country Office
Location: Nairobi, Hargeisa, Dubai, or other strategic locations within the Somali aid industry, with frequent travel to Somalia.
Contract: Initial one‑year term with strong extension prospects.
Responsibilities- With the Country Director, develop and take ownership of the country office’s fundraising and business continuity strategy.
- Maintain and regularly update the funding pipeline, tracking opportunities and proposal status.
- Identify and track upcoming funding opportunities (private and institutional donors) through intelligence gathering and partnership nurturing.
- Develop and maintain donor intelligence tools, guidelines, and templates.
- Lead preparatory actions for anticipated opportunities, including partner consortium formation, teaming agreements, and strategy development.
