Description:
The Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources ( ANR ) will support small-scale and limited-resource farmers by providing expert consultations, education, and hands-on training to enhance productivity and income. This role focuses on developing and delivering research-based programs that address key agricultural, economic, and environmental challenges in the community.
Key Program Areas:
+ Commercial Vegetable & Fruit Production – Enhancing crop yield, quality, and marketability.
+ High Tunnel Crop Production – Extending growing seasons and improving production efficiency.
+ Beekeeping & Pollination – Supporting pollinator health and sustainable honey production.
+ Harvesting, Handling & Marketing Fresh Produce – Improving post-harvest practices and market access.
