Job Description
We are currently looking for an Extrusion Technician to join us at Chippenham.
The role
- Ensure site compliance with Health and Safety policy and procedures, supporting risk assessments, new equipment commissioning and problem solving.
- Ensure that all activities undertaken conform to the appropriate standards and regulations.
- Ensure timely and effective line changes are completed in accordance with required outputs and the production plan.
- Assist production in optimising the extrusion processes for quality, line speed and weight.
- Participate in the development and implementation of improvement plans.
- Assist in the training and development of production operators and other technicians.
- Carry out machine start / shut‑down – hand‑over to operators, tooling repairs, replacements and modifications, handing over to production across all extrusion lines.
