The Fixed Asset Accountant is responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of operations in the fixed asset accounts. Moreover, he/she takes part in accounts’ analysis and supports senior colleagues in carrying out responsibilities of the accounting department and cooperates with auditors. He/she follows Desktop Procedures and adequate policies and guidelines in place and seeks for improvements. Performance should meet the requirements defined in the SLA/KPI’s applicable for the role. Reporting Line: Reporting to FA Supervisor.
Specific Responsibilities
- Maintaining Fixed Asset modules
- Processing Fixed Asset transactions and data entry for additions, capitalizations, retirement, changes
- Performing regular analyses of the FA account variances and FA reconciliation
- Ensuring there are no outstanding transactions that are not completed before closing
