Job Summary The student worker will assist the Fabrication Lab Technician in the lab during weekly fabrication lab hours. The student worker will work up to 5 – 8 hrs per week, in person, starting in August 2026. The student worker will be hired for the duration of the semester, with the potential for a renewed contract at the end of the semester.Fabrication Lab student workers are responsible for assisting students with various fabrication projects, performing daily shop tasks and enforcing safety procedures and lab policies. Student workers must handle heavy materials and equipment, and therefore must be able to lift 25 lbs of weight. Student workers will have a set weekly schedule that occurs outside of class time. Responsibilities The student worker reports to the Fabrication Lab Technician for weekly tasks relating to the lab equipment and assisting students.
