Fabricator Job Description

Job Title: Fabricator II

Job Summary: The Fabricator performs TIG welding, MIG welding, and plasma cutting to fabricate and build custom machines. They also install assemblies according to blueprints, engineering sketches, and written instructions. Additionally, the Fabricator works on special projects using machine fabrication equipment such as brakes, shears, mills, lathes, and plasma cutters. They receive direction, guidance, and mentorship from the Fabricator III and adhere to safety rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding, MIG welding, and plasma cutting to fabricate custom machines.
  • Install assemblies based on blueprints and engineering sketches.
  • Work on special projects using fabrication equipment (brakes, shears, mills, lathes, plasma cutters).
  • Receive guidance from the Fabricator III.
  • Observe safety rules and attend appropriate training.
