Job Description
Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Apprentice supports safe, reliable, and compliant hospital operations by completing routine preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and low-complexity corrective work orders under close supervision. This role assists with life-safety inspections and documentation, applies safe work practices, and delivers timely, customer-focused service to both clinical and non-clinical areas. Apprentices gain exposure to multiple trades while learning organizational procedures and technical skills essential to facilities operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Basic computer skills to navigate the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and email.
+ Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools and follow written procedures.
+ Valid driver’s license in accordance with hospital policy.
+ OSHA-10 (General Industry or Construction)...
