A Facilities Service Specialist (or Housekeeping Specialist) in a Singapore hotel is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas meet impeccable 5-star cleanliness and operational standards. Key duties include deep-cleaning, equipment maintenance, and strict compliance with local health and hygiene regulations.
Your core job scope typically includes:
- Room Cleaning & Servicing Deep Cleaning - Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors, as well as polishing furniture and fixtures.Sanitization
- Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting bathtubs, showers, toilets, and mirrors.Bedding & Laundry
- Changing bed linens, remaking beds to hotel standards, and sorting/distributing laundry.
