Job Description
Primary purpose :
The Facilities Technician assists with the daily upkeep operations of the company’s physical facility (building or offices). This position supports maintenance activities by performing more specialized and skilled maintenance and repair work, such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC repairs.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Facilities maintenance:
- Undertake basic maintenance of heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning units, chillers, walk in coolers/freezers, plumbing and security systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This includes electrical faults and leak detection.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment is serviced regularly, avoiding costly breakdowns and downtime.
