The American University of Sharjah is seeking a full-time Faculty Director for the Center for Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilizations (CASIC). The ideal candidate will specialize in Arabic studies or Islamic civilization and have a strong academic leadership background.
The Director will also co-chair the UNESCO Chair in Arabic Language, AI, and Digital Heritage, promoting interdisciplinary research and partnerships. This role requires relocation to the UAE by December 2026 and offers competitive salary and benefits.
