Job Role: Assistant Professor
Position Summary: GITAM University, Bengaluru Campus, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join the Mechanical Engineering department as a Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and service, with a focus on Robotics & AI, Digital Manufacturing & Automotive Engineering.
Responsibilities:
● Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical engineering.
● Develop and maintain a strong research program in a specific research area.
● Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
● Engage in service activities within the department, university, and professional community.
● Contribute to curriculum development and assessment efforts.
Qualifications:
● Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
