Job Description
Job Responsibilities A Failure Analysis (FA) Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring product reliability, optimizing performance, and preventing future failures. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify, document and resolve failures in an engineering system.
This role shall report directly to the factory quality manager.
Manage quality specialists performing failure analysis and activities in the evaluation laboratory.
Perform electrical and physical failure analysis (FA) on semiconductor substrates using a range of analytical tools to identify defect mechanisms and support root-cause investigations.
Conduct sample preparation and execute FA workflows, translating findings into actionable insights for engineering teams.
