Position Overview
Opportunity for full- or part-time physician at a well-established full-service family practice that has been in Nanaimo for over 40 years. Very flexible hours and days with no walk-in, weekend, or after-hours required. No on-call duties.
Responsibilities and Work Hours
Currently 10 physicians in practice, most of whom practice part-time in clinic and part-time elsewhere (ER, urgent care, maternity, youth clinic, etc.). The practice is a mix of experienced (>25 years) and new (<5 years) physicians, resulting in a collegial and supportive environment. Physicians have access to a common bullpen area and private office space for phone calls if desired, with approximately two exam rooms available per doctor for in-person patient care. Appointments may be tele‑health or in‑person, depending on physician determination.
