Family Practice Physician Locum Tenens
Location: Southern North Carolina
Coverage need
- Maternity leave coverage in a family practice clinic within a multi-specialty group (adult, pediatrics, allergy, urgent care)
- Target start: January or asap
Schedule and workload
- 4 days per week, open to 5 days per week
- Clinic hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a mid-day break
- Last morning appointment at 11:30; last afternoon appointment at 4:15
- Panel: largely Medicaid with higher no-show rate; 30 patients booked daily to achieve seen per day
- MA support; providers complete charts throughout the day
Clinical requirements
- Traditional outpatient family medicine seeing all ages; comfort with adult and pediatrics required
- Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered
