Job Description
Job Title: Family Physician – Full Time
A Family Physician position to provide primary care services within a shared care model to a patient population of approximately 5,000 in the communities of Fort St. James, Nak’azdli Whut’en, Tl’azt’en Nation and Binche Whut’en.
Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Desired
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – Desired
- Current CPSBC (College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia) license – Provisional
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Desired
- Eligible as a Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) member – Eligible
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership – Mandatory
- Emergency medicine skills – Desired
- Obstetric care skills – Desired
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) – Desired
