Job Description
Farm Manager
- Candidate must have a of guiding / wildlife qualification.
- Operating and Maintaining vehicle and farm equipment (Chainsaw, lawnmower, brush cutter etc.}
- Maintain of camp gardens and lawn (Irrigating, planting, removing weeds etc.)
- Maintaining and cleaning infrastructure of camp.
- General Pool maintenance.
- Removing and Controlling problem plants.
- Farm maintenance: Building and doing general maintenance on the farm, including mending fences, digging ditches, removing of fallen/dead branches.
- Maintaining roads of farm (Cutting over branches and small road repairs).
- Assist owners/management with projects around camp.
- Reporting/ Recordkeeping of any maintenance issues.
- If farm worker has valid driver’s licence allocated to collect wood for camp, drive to and from problem plant control sites and road maintained).
- The ability to drive a tractor.
