Responsibilities
Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Noblis MSD is seeking a skilled engineer with experience in the design, manufacturing, and application of mechanical fasteners.
Responsibilities include:
+ Reviewing drawings and design disclosures to assign/generate MILSPEC or other specification part numbers for requested fasteners from available fastener procurement specifications that function as a definitive technical data package which fully defines the fastener.
+ Applying approved NSTM 075 substitution processes on fasteners in drawings/design disclosures’ Engineering Parts Lists (EPLs) to provide fasteners that are equivalent/superior in performance...
